Falls to No.10, but Bruce falls 5 places as well - so Shaky's still doing alright!

The Collection falls one place to No.5 on the album charts. Not bad really. Bruce Springsteen is No.1 so that's OK!

Shaky has them rockin' at Musikteatret Vejle, Denmark and performs "Trouble".

Shaky's up to No.4! - See the album chart.

Great interview for Shaky on Richard and Judy. Shaky and Richard shed some light on the "incident" and clear the air! Good promotion of The Collection and Hit Me Baby. Shaky looks relaxed and I guess quietly pleased with the way things are going.

I never knew that the first Shakin' Stevens/Richard Madley interview was promoting Shooting learn something everyday.

Shaky also gave a great interveiw with Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC Radio 2! I think you can here the interview on the internet for the next week or so.

Looks like Shaky might be touring the UK later in the year! Fingers crossed!

Shaky's new CD/DVD - The Collection has been released in the UK on Epic Records. The CD is a compilation of 25 digitally remastered hits and the accompanying DVD has 12 videos with 5.1 surround sound.

The initial reception is positive and Shaky is continuing to plug the CD/DVD around the country, appearing on various radio shows. A TV advertising campaign is also running.

Shaky let us know a little more about his recording sessions in Nashville when he was a guest on "From the Bottom to the Top", presented by David "Kid" Jensen on Capital Gold. He's been working with guitarists Tony Joe White and Gary Tallent of the E Street Band. Shaky hinted that he is moving forward regarding the style of music he is recording, but I don't think it's too far away from what we know him for - a blend of Swamp, Cajun and Rock 'n' Roll with a distinctive hook - "without the hook you don't catch many fish".

Let's hope "The Collection" sells well. I'm sure there's a lot more from Shaky on the back of this release...
